Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 July 2026

1. Who we are

Clipit is operated by Laurent Richard, based in France. You can reach him at [email protected].

2. What this service is

Clipit is a video-publishing tool for creators: write a title, a description and subtitles once, in every language you publish in, and plan your releases in a calendar. Direct publishing to TikTok is being built; YouTube comes next.

Anyone can create an account at dashboard.clipit.app. It is free to use, and there is no invitation or approval step to sign up.

3. Acceptable use

By using Clipit, you agree to:

  • publish only content that you own or are otherwise entitled to publish, including any music, footage or images it contains;
  • comply with the terms of every platform you connect, and in particular the TikTok Community Guidelines and the TikTok Terms of Service;
  • refrain from using the service to publish unlawful, misleading or infringing content, or to automate abusive behaviour on a connected platform;
  • keep your account credentials and service keys to yourself — you are responsible for activity that happens through your account.

4. Connected accounts

Clipit does not connect to any social platform yet: there is no channel to link, and nothing is ever published on your behalf. Publishing integrations are being built, starting with TikTok.

When they exist, a connection will be made through the platform's own OAuth consent screen — Clipit will never see your platform password — and these Terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated before the first connection is possible.

5. Your account and your data

From the account settings page you can see your profile, choose your interface language, create and revoke service keys, and delete your account. Deleting your account permanently erases your workspaces, videos, publication records and service keys. For a copy of your data, a correction, or anything else, write to [email protected] — see our Privacy Policy.

6. Availability and no warranty

The service is provided "as is", without any warranty of availability, reliability or fitness for a particular purpose. It may be interrupted at any time, without notice, for maintenance or for any other reason. Scheduled posts may therefore fail to be published.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for the content you publish through the service, for any action taken against your account by a connected platform, or for any loss resulting from a change, restriction or outage of a third-party API.

8. Third-party services

Publishing depends on third-party APIs — notably TikTok and, soon, YouTube — which are governed by their own terms and may change or be withdrawn at any time. The operator has no control over those services.

9. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the version in force. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
